PM Modi to give Bhupen Hazarika Award to Usha Mangeshkar

PM Narendra Modi will present the Dr Bhupen Hazarika National Award to veteran singer Usha Mangeshkar on November 29 in New Delhi, at the closing ceremony of Hazarika's birth centenary celebrations. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announced this on Friday. The award carries ₹10 lakh and a citation, conferred once every three years.
