PM Modi to inaugurate USBRL Project in J&K on April 19

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) on April 19. The 272-km project includes a 119-km tunnel and features India's highest railway bridge over the Chenab River. Two Vande Bharat trains-one from Srinagar and another from Katra - will begin service the same day. Security has been heightened ahead of the visit.
