PM Modi to surpass 1st PM Nehru's record, become India's longest-serving elected PM

PM Narendra Modi will become India's longest-serving elected PM on June 10 by remaining in office for 4,399 consecutive days. He'll surpass Jawaharlal Nehru's record, who remained in office for 4,398 consecutive days - from May 13, 1952 (after the first general election) till his death in 1964. Indira Gandhi's uninterrupted tenure as elected PM was 4,077 days long.
