PM Modi visits Melbourne Cricket Ground, meets Steve Waugh

PM Narendra Modi visited the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday and called sports a key pillar of the India-Australia partnership. He met former Australian captain Steve Waugh, interacted with young cricketers and signed their jerseys. PM Modi said India is preparing to host the Commonwealth Games in 2030 and is also striving to host the Olympics in 2036.
