PM Narendra Modi starts nine-day fast during Navratri

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reportedly consume only water and observe the nine-day Navratri fast starting Thursday. He took to Twitter to wish people on Navratri and shared a link to prayers devoted to Goddess Shailputri. PM Modi had observed a similar Navratri fast in 2014 during his visit to the United States.
