PM speaks about Mahatma Gandhi’s views on Vande Mataram

PM Narendra Modi spoke about Mahatma Gandhi's emotions about Vande Mataram during a debate in the Parliament on Monday. PM said that Mahatma Gandhi wrote about how Vande Mataram had become famous across Bengal and people sang it during the Swadeshi Movement. "He wrote that the song was so popular it had become like our national anthem," PM Modi added.
