Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said PM Narendra Modi went to Italy after telling Indians to save fuel and avoid foreign travel. "He boarded an aircraft worth ₹3,000-4,000 crore, went to Italy carrying toffees in his pocket and offered them to the Italian PM [Giorgia Meloni]," he said. "The people of this country are being messed around with," Gandhi added.
