PM unveils 216-ft Statue of Equality honouring Saint Ramanujacharya in Hyd

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday unveiled the 216-foot-tall 'Statue of Equality' commemorating the 11th-century Bhakti Saint Sri Ramanujacharya in Hyderabad's Shamshabad and dedicated it to the nation. As per the government, the statue is one of the world's tallest metallic statues in the sitting position. It's made from a combination of five metals- gold, silver, copper, brass and zinc.
