PMC steps up tax recovery as March 31 deadline nears

With two days left for the March 31 deadline, Panvel Municipal Corporation has intensified property tax recovery, urging citizens to clear dues promptly. Commissioner Mangesh Chitale warned of action against defaulters. PMC has recovered ₹682.53 crore of ₹2,289.73 crore, with 1,716 notices issued and 157 properties already facing attachment, officials said.
