Pune municipal body suspends architect, halts builder over certificate lapses

Pune Municipal Corporation suspended architect Vilas Yele's licence for a year and halted all construction by Tushar Builders and BK Infra LLP over lapses in issuing the occupancy certificate for the Monte Rosa project in Hingane Khurd. Two civic engineers also face departmental inquiries for alleged negligence. The certificate was issued without verifying compliance with sanctioned plans and environmental clearances.
