PMC to buy 200 e-buses from Centre's funds under clean air initiative

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will be purchasing 200 mini e-buses from funds allocated by central government under its National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) initiative. PMC commissioner Vikram Kumar said that the NCAP annual grants would be allocated to PMC for the next five years. The eco-friendly buses, each costing around ₹1.20 crore, will be added to the PMPML fleet.
