PMC to get 115 properties at Ganj Peth for Phule monument expansion

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is set to acquire 115 residential properties at Ganj Peth for the expansion of a monument of 19th-century social reformers Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and his wife Savitribai Phule. The properties are reportedly adjacent to two separate memorials of the couple that currently exist there. Notably, the Maharashtra government has earmarked ₹100 crore for the project.
