PMPML loses over ₹47 crore amid declining ridership

Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd experienced a drop of over 2.25 crore passengers, leading to a revenue loss of ₹47 crore in the financial year 2024–25. Its monthly revenue failed to cross ₹50 crore in 11 out of 12 months in FY 2024-25. The decline has been attributed to poorly maintained buses, infrequent services, and rising preference for Metro.
