PMPML to set up EV charging stations for private vehicles in Pune

In order to augment revenue, Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) will be installing EV charging stations for private vehicles at seven company-owned locations in city. The initiative will be undertaken through a private company, with PMPML receiving 32% of the revenue generated. This move comes in the wake of declining passenger footfall and operational deficits.
