PM's Japan visit is to honour 'dear friend' Abe’s memory: Foreign Secy

Foreign secretary Vinay Kwatra has said that PM Narendra Modi's trip to Japan to attend former-PM Shinzo Abe's state funeral is an opportunity for him to honour the memory of his "dear friend". During this visit, PM Modi will also meet his Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida, said Kwatra, adding that 20 heads of state and government will attend the funeral.
