PNB gives ₹689cr loans to 1,600 MSMEs under 59-minute scheme

Punjab National Bank MD Sunil Mehta has said the lender sanctioned loans worth ₹689 crore to over 1,600 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the 59-minute loan portal till February-end. MSMEs can avail loans of up to ₹1 crore through the portal. Further, the lender has sanctioned 2.69 lakh loans so far in FY19 under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana.
