Papua New Guinea finished on top of the Group A of ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier to secure direct entry into next year's T20 World Cup. The 2020 T20 World Cup in Australia will be Papua New Guinea's first-ever World Cup in any format. Papua New Guinea will become the 20th team to feature in a T20 World Cup.
