Poilievre ramps up outreach to Indo-Canadians ahead of polls

Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre reached out to the Indo-Canadian community during the campaign for the Canadian federal election, a report said. He visited Toronto’s BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, performed a puja and thanked the Hindu community for their service to Canada. Later, Poilievre attended Khalsa Day parade, which drew over 500,000 attendees, largest such event outside India.
