PokerBaazi parent to cut 200 jobs after real-money gaming ban

Nazara Technologies-backed Baazi Games, which operates the online gaming platform PokerBaazi, is cutting 200 jobs, Moneycontrol reported. The layoffs represent 45% of its workforce and come after the government's ban on real-money gaming. Baazi Games is planning to shift to other business models, like casual games. Earlier, MPL also announced that it is reducing its India unit workforce by 80%.
