Poland demands $1.3-trillion war reparations from Germany

Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau has signed an official document which seeks around $1.3 trillion in reparations from Germany for the World War II invasion of his country by the Nazis. Rau said the document will be sent to the Foreign Ministry of Germany. The development comes on the eve of German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock’s visit to Warsaw.
