Poland receives US military equipment amid tensions with Russia

The Polish Defence Ministry on Friday said that US military equipment had started to arrive in Poland, amid tensions with Russia over a Russian troop build-up near Ukraine's border. "This is a clear signal of allied solidarity," Poland's Defence Minister said. On Wednesday, US President Joe Biden's administration had announced the deployment of nearly 3,000 American troops to eastern Europe.
