Poland reports highest number of COVID-related deaths in 4th wave

Poland on Wednesday reported 794 coronavirus-related deaths, the highest number in the fourth wave of the pandemic, Deputy Health Minister Waldemar Kraska said. More than 75% of those who died were unvaccinated, he added. "I think we're currently experiencing a peak in the number of people who're dying," Kraska further said. Poland has reported over 94,910 COVID-19 deaths so far.
