Police arrest prime accused in Assam lynching case

Assam Police on Tuesday arrested the prime accused in connection with the lynching of two men by a mob over rumours in Karbi Anglong over a week ago. The accused called up locals accusing the victims of being child lifters and asked them to stop their car, police said. Around 64 people have been arrested in the case so far.
