Police booth, vehicles attacked in Shillong during protest against Nov 22 violence

Miscreants on Thursday torched a traffic police booth and attacked three vehicles, including a city bus, in Shillong during a candlelight vigil organised to protest against violence on the Assam-Meghalaya border. Security personnel were forced to lob tear gas shells to disperse protesters, reports said. On November 22, six persons were killed in firing incident in Meghalaya's West Jaintia Hills.
