Police catch stolen bus after 18-km chase in Telangana, drunk thief arrested

A 35-year-old drunk former mechanic was arrested after allegedly stealing a Telangana state road bus from Korutla and leading police on an 18-km chase. "During this...he hit 3-4 motorcycles, a police vehicle and some students...and almost ran over some pedestrians before going off the road and crashing into a tree," a police officer said. NH-63 was blocked during the operation.
