Police detain students for calling IAS Tina Dabi 'reel maker'; Barmer SP says 'police was wrong'

Barmer Police detained several students who were protesting a fee hike after they said that Barmer District Collector IAS Tina Dabi was "not a role model but a reel maker". Students were taken to the police station after which SP Barmer Narendra Singh intervened. While appealing for calm, Singh said, "We accept it. We made a mistake."
