Police gives clean chit to ex-Minister Ajay, son over witness intimidation in Lakhimpur Kheri case

The Uttar Pradesh Police told Supreme Court that it didn't find any evidence to link ex-Union minister Ajay Mishra or his son Ashish Mishra to allegations of intimidation of witnesses in Lakhimpur Kheri case. The duo has not been chargesheeted, the police told the apex court. Ashish is accused of running over four anti-farm law protesters in 2021.
