Police officer crushed to death by tractor while trying to stop illegal sand mining in MP

Shahdol Assistant Sub Inspector Mahendra Bagri was run over by a tractor that was allegedly used for illegal sand mining on Saturday (May 4), officials said. Bagri and his two associates had gone to check the illegal activity and had tried to stop the tractor that was carrying the sand, officials said. The tractor's driver is among two people arrested.
