Police reach TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's home days after property notice

Kolkata Police on Monday reached the residence of TMC leader and Diamond Harbour MP Abhishek Banerjee at Shantiniketan, his official residence located on 188A Harish Mukherjee Road. Officials have not yet clarified why the police arrived there. The development came days after the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) issued notices to Abhishek over alleged illegal construction at 17 properties.
