Police have recovered bags filled with bundles of ₹500 notes buried underground near TMC party office in West Bengal's Baduria on Wednesday. The recovery was made during searches following arrest of TMC leader and Baduria Municipality chairman Dipankar Bhattacharya, over alleged irregularities. Visuals showed police officials carrying sacks allegedly stuffed with bundles of currency notes.
