Police seize ₹1.77 crore amid investigation at West Bengal school

Police launched an investigation at Harnett English Medium School in Kanchrapara, West Bengal, after ₹1.77 crore in cash and inappropriate items were recovered from premises. Acting principal Bikash Chandra Pal lodged a complaint alleging embezzlement by staff members. The case raised serious concerns about institution’s financial management and administrative practices.
