Police station opens in Adolf Hitler's birthplace in Austria

A police station has been opened at the site where German dictator Adolf Hitler was born in Braunau, Austria, in 1889. Austria's Interior Ministry spent about $23 million to refurbish the building in an attempt to prevent it from being used as a neo-Nazi pilgrimage site. The house had remained empty for years as its owner had refused its sale.
