Police to detain those who violate COVID-19 night curfew in Bengaluru

Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Kamal Pant said that police would detain those who violate the night curfew rules, imposed amid fears of Omicron COVID-19 variant spreading. "Only those who work at night...employed in essential services...travelling on urgent business will be allowed to travel," he added. Major flyovers will be closed to ensure people follow the night curfew, Pant further said.
