Police to patrol Mumbai's Marine Drive on segways amid COVID-19 pandemic

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Thursday inaugurated deployment of 50 segways at Marine Drive which will be used by Mumbai police to patrol promenades. The process will begin with 15 segways and then be extended further, Deshmukh said. Policemen operating the segways will have a public address system attached to their masks to communicate with people amid coronavirus pandemic.
