Police to use live facial recognition tech across London

London's Metropolitan Police Service announced that it will begin the operational use of Live Facial Recognition (LFR) technology across London. In a tweet, the London Police stated that the system will be used to tackle crimes and keep Londoners safe. It also said that all images obtained by the system that don't trigger a potential alert will be deleted immediately.
