Policeman who died in Surajkund fair was to retire in March

Police Inspector Jagdish Prasad, who died while trying to save people after the tsunami swing collapsed at the Surajkund fair in Haryana's Faridabad, was to retire in March after completing 36 years of service. Inspector Prasad, who was awarded the Police Medal by the Haryana governor in 2019-20, is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a son.
