Policeman who knelt on George Floyd's neck found guilty of murder, faces 40-year jail

Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, who had knelt on Black man George Floyd's neck for over nine minutes in May last year, has been found guilty of murder. A 12-member jury found the 45-year-old guilty of all three charges of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and manslaughter. Chauvin now faces up to 40 years in jail.
