Polio survivor helps vaccinate over 5,000 children in Chhattisgarh

Rupa Sahu, a polio survivor from Raipur district, has been serving as a Mitanin, Chhattisgarh's community health worker, since 2006. During this time, she has helped administer polio vaccine drops to over 5,000 children. "Ever since I became a Mitanin, I had one goal: that no child should ever have to suffer the pain I went through," Sahu said.
