Political activities like dharna have no place in constitutional democracy: HC

The Kerala High Court said that political activities like dharna, hunger strike and satyagraha have no place in constitutional democracy, especially in academic institutions. The court set aside an order, allowing 16 suspended students of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit to appear for exams. The students, linked with SFI, had protested on campus and conducted a mock cremation of VC.
