Polymarket CEO used company funds for private jets, future investors uncover 'theft'

Polymarket's 28-year-old CEO Shayne Coplan used company funds for private jet flights, apartment rent and other personal expenses, reported Bloomberg. The embezzlement came to light when Palantir Founder Peter Thiel-led Founders Fund considered investing in Polymarket in 2025. Founders Fund eventually invested $150 million in the prediction platform after Coplan repaid the money to Polymarket.
