Mani Ratnam-directorial 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' has created history by becoming the fastest film to gross ₹100 crore in Tamil Nadu box office. The film crossed the ₹100 crore mark in Tamil Nadu within five days of its release, breaking the previous record of seven days set by 'Sarkar' and 'Bigil'.
