Ponniyin Selvan 2 will release in next 9 months, says director Ratnam

Filmmaker Mani Ratnam has confirmed that the second instalment of the 'Ponniyin Selvan' will release in the next nine months. The first instalment, which features actors Vikram and Karthi, will release on September 30. The first instalment also features actresses Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha Krishnan. The film is based on the book 'Ponniyin Selvan'.
