Pope calls fake news 'satanic', condemns its use in politics

Denouncing fake news as "satanic", Pope Francis said that false stories spread quickly and the damage caused by them is difficult to contain. He also condemned the manipulative use of social media platforms and other forms of communications. He further said that spreading fake news can influence political decisions, and serve political and economic interests.
