Pope Francis abolishes 'pontifical secrecy' in sex abuse cases

Pope Francis abolished the 'pontifical secrecy' in sexual abuse cases of minors. Reportedly, such cases were previously shrouded in secrecy which the church claimed were efforts to protect the identities of victims and reputations of the accused. The Pope changed the age from 14 to 18 or under for pictures of an individual to be considered as child pornography.
