Pope Francis begins historic Asia tour with arrival in Indonesia

Pope Francis arrived in Jakarta, Indonesia, kicking off a 12-day visit to four countries, including Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste, and Singapore. The 87-year-old pontiff, on his 45th Apostolic Journey, will meet Indonesia President Joko Widodo, participate in interfaith meetings, and highlight climate action.
