Luxury carmaker Porsche is considering cutting up to 4,000 jobs in Germany under an expanded cost-cutting plan, Handelsblatt reported. The layoffs would mainly affect management and administrative roles. Earlier, Porsche announced plans to eliminate over 1,900 positions by 2029. The restructuring also includes reviewing about 30% of capacity at its Weissach development site.
