Portion of Thane residential building collapses, no one hurt

A portion of a five-storey residential building in Thane's Daighar area has collapsed, officials said on Saturday. No one was hurt in the incident which occurred on Friday night. Residents and the shops on the ground floor have been evacuated and the building has been marked for being pulled down, chief of the Regional Disaster Management Cell Avinash Sawant said.
