Tweets cite old interview to claim BioNTech CEO didn't take COVID jab; firm responds

Several posts on social media, including Twitter, falsely claimed that Ugur Sahin, CEO of BioNTech, the German firm that made a COVID-19 vaccine with Pfizer, hasn't taken the jab. The posts cited Sahin's interview from December 2020, AP reported. Sahin got vaccinated in early 2021 using his company's product, a BioNTech spokesperson said, adding that the interview is "completely outdated".
