A passenger's power bank exploded while charging in an AC coach of the Mumbai-Howrah Mail near Odisha's Bandamunda station early Saturday, triggering a fire alarm and filling the coach with smoke. The train was halted for around 15 minutes as railway staff controlled the situation. Officials said that onboard charging points would be switched off at night to protect passengers.
