Power Minister reviews J&K hydel projects to boost water resources amid suspended IWT

Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs Manohar Lal visited J&K to review the NHPC hydroelectric projects. He directed NHPC to expedite the sediment removal operations of the Salal reservoir, which are underway after the termination of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT). He also visited Ratle Hydroelectric Project, where he laid the foundation stone for dam concreting works.
